2-pole 275V AC surge protection device for home appliances

FV20C/2-275S
FATECH FV20C/2-275S is a TUV certified 2-pole AC surge protection device. It is designed for single-phase three-wire power distribution systems and protects home appliances, air conditioners, computers, and small industrial equipment from surge and overvoltage damage. Stable performance and easy installation make it widely used in residential and light commercial applications.

-Consisting of a base part and MOV pluggable protection modules.

-For using in the lightning protection zones concept at boundary 1-2.

-The core parts are metal oxide vristor components with high discharge capacity.

-Low residual voltage and quick response.

-Reliable control thanks to Thermo Dynamic Control disconnector.

-With remote signaling contact for control device.

-Fault indication via red mark in the inspection window.

-Protection mode: L-PE,N-PE.

A surge protection device (SPD) is an electrical safety component used to divert dangerous overvoltage and lightning-induced surges to the ground. It limits voltage to a safe level and protects electrical equipment, circuits, and systems from surge damage.

A circuit breaker protects against overcurrent and short circuits. A surge protector (SPD) protects against overvoltage and transient surges such as lightning. They serve different protective functions and are often used together for complete safety.

When abnormal overvoltage or surge occurs, the SPD quickly changes its internal impedance to a low-resistance state, diverting surge current to the grounding system. It clamps the voltage to a safe level and then automatically resets to normal status.
